Starbucks Japan’s premium brand is ready to help you get started on Christmas shopping right now.
Starbucks Japan didn’t waste much time transitioning from Halloween scares to the Christmas spirit, as it began serving up its new Frappuccino with optional Christmas cooking toppings on November 2. And for those looking to get an early start on their Christmas shopping, searching for presents either for other or themselves, the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo is now offering a new line of holiday-season drinkware.

As a reminder, the Reserve Roasteries, like the one pictured above in Tokyo’s Nakameguro neighborhood, are Starbucks’ locations for premium celebrations of coffee culture, and the holiday season collection is a similar combination of fancy and festive design, with a theme of “Decorate your holiday season” and glittery pearl motifs, such as with this 355-milliliter (12-ounce) stainless steel drink bottle that looks like it’s all dreseed up for a Christmas party with a pearl necklace-style strap.

If you’re looking for something with a little more capacity, there’s a more conventionally-shaped 473-milliliter drink bottle that’s still sparkly, as is the identical-volume cold cup tumbler.

Moving on to drinkware for your at-home coffee/tea breaks, Japan doesn’t really have a Christmas tradition of hanging stocking over the fireplace, due in no small part to fireplaces not really being a thing in Japanese homes. Instead, you’ll see “Christmas boots” in holiday decoration displays here, and also as the inspiration for this 237-milliliter mug.

Equally cozy, but a little larger for longer beverage breaks, is the 355-milliliter “Harvest White” design…

…and if you want to be fancy without going out, there’s a “Pink and Copper” mug too.

This 296-milliliter icy blue drinking glass might look more all-purpose wintery than specifically Christmas-y, but its double-wall design makes it versatile in handling both hot and cold drinks.

There’s a little more visual warmth in the color palate for the pair of 355-mililiter stemmed glasses, whose shape are modeled after the coffee bean silo seen inside the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo.

And eventually Starbucks Japan’s theming wraps back around on itself, as the Christmas decoration-inspired drinkware inspires a Christmas tree ornament shaped like the boot mug, plus one modeled after the Christmas packaging of the Reserve Roastery’s coffee and coffee press, and a glittery snow globe.

And finally, there are a pair of bag charms, one chic and one playful…

…and a selection of corduroy drawstring pouches, in two sizes and three colors.

As for price, the necklace-style strap drink bottle is the priciest item, at 7,200 yen (US$45), followed by the non-strap bottle (5,900 yen) and tumbler (5,300 yen). The mugs are all 3,600 yen, the double-wall glass 4,000, and the stemmed glasses 3,300 each. The ornaments are each 2,300 yen, the snow globe 3,800, the bag charms 4,800 each, and the bags 1,300 or 1,600 each, depending on size.
In addition to in-store at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo, the lineup is also available through the Starbucks Japan online store here.
