You can take home the magic of Hogwarts with you right from Osaka.
We know there are a lot of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts fans in Osaka thanks to Universal Studios Japan’s Harry Potter World, but now you can enjoy that fandom outside of USJ and the Wizarding World Cafe. House of MinaLima, whom we can thank for many graphic designs in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies, is opening a pop-up store in Osaka for a whole year!
At House of MinaLima, you can view and purchase limited edition art prints, stationery goods, postcards, and more. If you look at some of their products and think, “Wow, this textbook looks just like the ones in the movies,” it’s because it probably is. The MinaLima team was responsible for designing things in the movies like textbooks and snack packages, and Harry Potter’s letter of acceptance from Hogwarts was also their design.
▼ Can you imagine how magical doing homework will be when you use a replica exercise book?
House of MinaLima will also include a gallery of scenes and artefacts from the series, such as the Mirror of Erised. If you’re a fan and you’re in the area, this is a must-see!
▼ Looking at this Advanced Potion Making textbook replica might bring back memories of good ol’ Professor Snape.

The Osaka pop-up store also includes items outside of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series, like MinaLima’s take on classic stories like Peter Pan and Beauty and the Beast in their Classic Collection. The MinaLima Collection includes merchandise with witty slogans and eye-catching designs.
▼ This is the dream team of Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, also known as MinaLima.
House of MinaLima is already open as of April 12, so if you have plans to travel to Osaka within this year, definitely make this a stop on your trip (and you can take a dip in beautiful onsen downtown when you’re finished)!
