All you need is kisses…and a couple of adorable Sanrio characters!
In Japan, Hello Kitty has earned a reputation for being one of the country’s hardest-working characters, frequently popping up for collaborations with all sorts of companies who want a piece of the Sanrio character’s fame and fortune.
After spending some time with the Sailor Moon franchise and stepping into the boots of Wonder Woman, Hello Kitty is back out on the field again, only this time she’s taking her fans for a walk on the sweet side, with a delicious tie-up involving Hershey’s Kisses.
The bite-sized chocolate pieces from U.S. manufacturers Hershey’s are already well-known in Japan, but now they’re in the spotlight with a whole new range of specially branded sweets and merchandise. Featuring Hello Kitty and fellow Sanrio character Cinammoroll, there are ten items in the merchandise range, including pouches, mugs, cases, and plush toys, but one particular item that comes highly recommended is the blanket in a Hershey’s Kisses case.
▼ The two-in-one product, which is priced at 3,240 yen (US$29.13), doubles as an eye-catching cushion.

The seven-piece sweets lineup also comes with some limited-edition goodies, so you can enjoy a mouthful of chocolate along with a keepsake souvenir.
▼ Instead of a pack of chocolates, why not enjoy a pack of shiny foil stickers instead?
Each item in the special limited-edition range is perfect for gift-giving, with prices ranging from 486 yen for the stickers above, up to 3,780 yen for a Cinnamoroll plushie.
All goods in the Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate Collaboration Series are currently available to purchase online or at Sanrio stores around the country.
