One of the best ways to deal with the end of a long relationship.
Going on a trip with your significant other can be an unforgettable experience and a great way to spice up a long term relationship.
But for Austin Weber, a Harvard University undergraduate, his plans to take an awesome holiday in Japan with his girlfriend were thrown into disarray when they broke up shortly before they were scheduled to leave. Disheartened, he flew to Kyoto anyway but took his father with him instead.
Like any heartbroken person trying his best to get over a relationship, Weber took the opportunity to sing his heart out in a self-made music video recorded by his father.
▼ His rendition of “Mamma Mia” would do ABBA proud.
The sting of a breakup can be too much to bear for some, and Weber’s father clearly understood that his son just needed some time to get things off his chest…
▼ …by singing in the middle of Kamo River in Kyoto…
▼ …and busting out a literal “Running Man” dance move.
Donning headphones and belting out lyrics into a microphone, passersby were both entertained and shocked to see him unabashedly singing in public. Weber’s way of dealing with disappointment can be a source of inspiration for those who are recovering from lost relationships.

▼ “Yeahhhh, I’ve been brokenhearted!”
It’s heartwarming to see that Weber has an extremely supportive father to help out in his most trying of times, and here’s hoping the two forged an even stronger bond through the trip of a lifetime. There’s no better way to start the healing process than a bit of singing… and also eating the metaphorical bones of your lost love by eating some literal bones,
